Just in time for the winter weather and the holidays, participants in this watercolor workshop will create four of their own holiday cards (envelopes also provided) with festive watercolor snowflake and tree ornament designs. First, we’ll experiment with a masking fluid technique to create white snowflake shapes surrounded by a vibrant blue background. We’ll also use a fun technique to paint cards decorated with colorful tree ornaments. We can use a “splatter” effect and add salt to our wet paintings for a unique texture.
