Location:Meeting place is typically in the parking lot of 605 west Main Street in Lexington. We will
Know more closer to the date when the parade order is determined.
Time:
We will meet absolutely no later than 1:30 at the above location. It gets very congested when the roads get shut down.
Bike/Helmet needs
If you need to borrow a bike or helmet I need to meet you at the track between the hours of 10-12. That is the only time. There is no
Cost.
We will need some parents to walk/ride to help monitor the children safely.
Kids (and parents) Decorate your bikes with lights etc. Have fun with this!
FAQ:
1) Do we have to wear Helmets?
Yes they are required, full face is not.
2) Do we have stuff to give out to people along the route?
Yes, we will have candy canes with our QR code attached. WE CANNOT THROW THE CANDY!! Must be handed out!
3)Can A balance bike rider participate?
That is an astounding YES!
4) Do I need to have a USA BMX membership to ride?
No.
