Join BCWA co-founder, Dave Nolin, for a relaxed early-spring hike as we search for the bold skunk cabbage along the boardwalk and the delicate snow trilliums tucked away in the woods. These early bloomers are some of the first signs that winter is loosening its grip, and finding them is half the fun.
This leisurely 2-mile walk takes us through beautiful wetland habitat. For those who want a closer look at the snow trilliums, be ready for a short adventure: they’re on a steep hillside and require crossing a narrow creek to reach. Sturdy footwear and a sense of curiosity are encouraged!
