About this Event

Become a winter scientist and join us at Cedar Creek for a day of free and family-friendly winter activities! Participants will have the opportunity to explore winter wildlife at Cedar Creek and enjoy a guided snowshoe or winter hike to Cedar Bog Lake.


Snow Science Day will be on March 1st, from 1pm-3pm at Cedar Creek’s Lindemann Center (2660 Fawn Lake Dr NE, East Bethel, MN 55005). Activities will be geared towards ages 8+; however, kids of all ages are welcome to attend. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

All activities are free, but registration is required.

The hike portion of the program will last approximately 1 hour. We will walk ~1.25 miles over variety of surfaces (sand, dirt, boardwalk).

Program is free, please consider making a suggested donation of $5-10 to the Cedar Creek Fund, which supports education and community programs at Cedar Creek, including science field trips, public events, and other events.
