Now in its 35th year, the Snow Ball gala, part of the annual Festival of Trees & Lights, is one of the largest annual fundraisers for Norton Children’s Hospital. This black-tie event, presented by Konica Minolta, features a magical evening of cocktails, live entertainment, dancing and a gourmet dinner.Upon entering the gala, you will be surrounded on all sides with the sparkle of holiday lights in a room transformed into a magnificent winter wonderland. A silent auction will be open during the cocktail hour, and will include luxury items such as fine dining experiences, jewelry, trips and more. We will also sell raffle tickets for our Home & BMW raffle, two superb bourbon raffle packages, and a champagne brunch raffle package throughout the evening.
After the five-course meal, you will enjoy dancing and live music by Endless Summer Band, followed by our end of evening experience complete with hot chocolate and a coffee bar, sweet treats and a special take home gift for each guest.
The Snow Ball gala has become one of Louisville’s most fashionable and hottest events, and it is one you will not want to miss!
All funds raised through the Snow Ball will benefit Norton Children’s Hospital through the Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation, which raises millions of dollars each year to support programs, equipment and facilities, research, advocacy and education at Kentucky’s only full-service, free-standing pediatric hospital and its sister facilities.
Each year, funds from this event are donated to the hospital’s area of greatest need. This year’s event will benefit the neonatal intensive care unit at Norton Children’s. Each year, nearly 2,000 critically ill and premature infants spend the first weeks to months of their lives in Norton Children’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Operating as the seventh-largest NICU in the country and the region’s only Level IV NICU, Norton Children’s Hospital has 101 licensed beds. Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital – St. Matthews offers 48 licensed beds and Norton Clark Hospital in Southern Indiana has six beds. The need for care in this area has never been higher. Funds raised will help provide greater access to expert care for all children and will enhance and expand facilities and technology to improve care.
