The Region X RMEC brings together the Region X community to equip pre-medical and medical students for success!
The Region X Regional Medical Education Conference (RMEC) brings together the Region X community to equip pre-medical and medical students with the skills to become "clinically excellent, culturally competent, and socially conscious physicians."
This year, RMEC will be hosted by Vanderbilt School of Medciine, and the theme is, "The Evolution of Healthcare: from AI to DEI." The conference will highlight the changes happening in healthcare including the addition of machine learning and AI in medicine. Additionally, the conference will discuss the decrease in DEI and emphasis on diversity nation-wide. There will also be a focus on ways in which to better serve our communities.
There will be a formal banquet/ closing ceremony on the evening of Saturday, November 23, 2024!
