🌼 Join us for our spring Snip event! 🌼
We welcome you to come along, grab a drink and get busy collaging in our cosy creative space! Whether you're a seasoned artist or curious about trying something new, this is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow collage enthusiasts, share techniques and get inspired by each other's ideas whilst exploring the world of collage!
🗓️ DATE Thursday 27th March 2025
🕔 TIME 5pm - 10pm (last entry to Snip will be 9pm to give time for you to create your art)
📍 VENUE As part of the Night Market Social at The Steamworks (109-111 Randall St, Highfield, Sheffield, S2 4SJ)
✂️ WHAT IS SNIP? Snip is a relaxed collaging club aimed at adults who want to spend a few hours sitting, snipping and sticking together!
We will have our own section of The Steamworks venue set up for all your collaging needs, wants and desires. We have so many stunning materials for you to get creative with (coloured / textured papers and cards, maps, travel brochures, vintage books / magazines, postcards, lifestyle / food / gardening / home decor magazines, wallpapers, comics, postal stamps, playing cards, sheet music, art prints etc).
There will be ' Snip Tips ' to guide you and our ' Lucky Snip ' where you can help yourself to a small pack of random pre-cut images to inspire your next creation - we can't wait to see what you all get up to!
Snip events are the ideal place for you to create artwork to take home, personalised gifts for loved ones, greetings cards, mood / vision board content, to add to current collage projects you have on the go, or to build your art journal for example. Our collaging sessions are entirely for you to use as a creative space - go wild!
🎟️ TICKETS £3 per person (cash or card accepted at the entrance to our area).
Entry will give you access to all our collaging materials, including the use of our scissors and glue sticks.
We will stamp your hand upon entry to our space to give you the freedom to go and grab a bite to eat or have a wander round the market at your leisure, you can always return to Snip later on in the evening. We aren't able to hold table spaces unfortunately - please ensure you clear the space you've been using if you are leaving the Snip area for a while to give room for other Snippers to sit and create.
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE ADDITIONAL FEE Entry to Night Market Social is an ADDITIONAL £3 pp on the door to gain access to the whole venue. Once inside the venue, you will see our Snip area where you can show us your Eventbrite ticket.
💜 SNIP VIBES We kindly ask that everyone keeps the friendly vibe of Snip flowing along nicely by returning scissors / glue sticks / materials back to their spot ready for the next Snippers to use. We also ask all Snippers to take care with each other, whether this means sharing materials or sharing table space, we want everyone to enjoy their time at our events.
⚠️ VINTAGE MATERIALS Snip uses genuine vintage books and magazines which may feature material showing mistreatment or stereotypes of people / animals / cultures. We do not tolerate this kind of material being used or shared, and therefore we try our best to remove anything of this nature prior to our events. We ask our Snippers to let us know as soon as possible if they notice any materials featuring content like this so we can deal with it immediately. If we work together, everyone can continue to feel truly welcomed and included at our events.
⭐ FACILITIES
Snip will be set up within a ground floor level, fully accessible section of The Steamworks venue. Accessible toilet facilities are available. If you have any additional accessibility requirements or queries, please get in-touch with us.
📷 SOCIAL MEDIA
We like to capture the spirit of Snip by taking lots of photos and videos of our events which we then use for our social media. If you do not wish to be featured on our Instagram or Facebook page, please find one of our Snip volunteers and let us know.

Snip has a no refunds policy.
💭 FEEDBACK We aim to source future materials based on the feedback we receive from our Snippers - suggestions and donations of materials are always welcome.
