Proud to be part of Global Biotech Week in Saskatchewan! We invite you to tour the Food Centre's new Advanced Food Ingredients Centre! Discover how this centre of excellence for fermentation and bioengineering will support the development and commercialization of advanced food ingredients, fermented food ingredients, enzymes, crop inoculants, probiotics, biocontrol agents, bioproducts and bioactive compounds from all over the world.


The Food Centre’s Fermentation & Bioengineering (FAB) team brewing is up some exciting opportunities to advance the development and commercialization of food ingredients.


  • Come and learn how FAB is on its way to ferment healthy beverages and foods loaded with prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics
  • Learn how FAB create healthy and nutritious foods through fermentation by deriving sequestered nutrients in our Saskatchewan grown pulses, cereals, oilseeds, etc.
  • Learn how we can valorize feedstocks from our Saskatchewan agri-food sector for high value nutritious foods
  • Biofertilizers, biopesticides, biocontrol agents? We can help produce these environmentally sustainable alternatives to complement existing management practices


We are offering 2 time slots for the tour. 1pm -2pm | 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Please register for only one time slot. Our maximum capacity for each time slot is 15.
