Snakehead Run is an American roots band playing a unique style of acoustic jug band blues and American roots music stretching from the 1920s to the modern day, with some original songs and bluegrass and rockabilly thrown into the mix. This talented foursome serves up a rollicking good time on a wide range of traditional instruments, including washboard, jug, washtub bass, and dobro resonator guitar.
The band has played at venues and music festivals up and down the East Coast, including the Washington Folk Festival, Silver Spring Blues Festival, and Wonderland Ballroom. You can learn more about them and hear some rousing music at snakeheadrun.com.
The concert is free, and no tickets or reservations are required. Seating is first come first served, and the auditorium closes before show time if there is a full house so get here early!
