Snake Davis and Gareth Moulton are both major players in the music industry contributing to, arguably, some of the most memorable songs over the last 3 decades.Snake Davis has inspired a whole generation of saxophonists with his individual style and sound, snaking around the most hauntingly beautiful songs. Known for his solos on tracks with Lisa Stansfield, M People, Take That’s “A Million Love Songs” & Klingande. He has played and recorded with artists ranging from James Brown to Paul McCartney, The Eurythmics to Dionne Warwick. Two of his students reached the BBC Young Musician of the year finals in 2014 with Jess Gillam then becoming runner up and a phenomenal success in her own right.
Gareth Moulton plays for Cutting Crew “(I Just) Died in your arms tonight” and Wang Chung “Dance Hall Days, Everybody Have Fun Tonight” and is one half of the critically acclaimed play (with Gary Lagden) “Fly-half” providing the original music and songs. Described as a “master of melody and mood” his illustrious CV includes recordings and tours with Go West, Nik Kershaw, Jim Diamond, Paul Young, Chaka Khan and more. Golden tonsils, sleek fingers and tales to tell.
This incredible duo are on the road with the release of their first album. Their combined love of unearthing and performing some truly amazing tunes as well as their own penned songs shine through their performance. Mellow music infused with pop, rock, jazz and soul.
