Join us for a spooky evening at Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge hiking, making s’mores, and telling ghost stories around the campfire. Experience nighttime at Cedar Run and learn the lore of the Pine Barrens’ most infamous monster: The Jersey Devil. Following the tale of New Jersey’s cryptid, enjoy an optional night hike on one of our trails, led by a Cedar Run educator. S’mores will be available at the firepit to roast at your leisure throughout the night, accompanied by live guitar music.This family-friendly event is perfect for all Halloween- and cryptid-lovers aged 8 and up. Halloween costumes are encouraged. Be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes if you plan to hike. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle, flash light, and keep an eye out for the Jersey Devil!
Space is limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. Ages 8+ please. $20/adult, $15/child. 20 participants maximum. Advanced registration required.
All proceeds from this event go directly towards supporting Cedar Run’s mission of the preservation and protection of New Jersey’s wildlife and habitats through education, conservation, and rehabilitation. When you attend a Cedar Run event, you make a direct impact in our community!
