Join Hike It Florida while we take you on a once-in-a-lifetime Smoky Mountain Tour. This trip will give you the opportunity to explore all corners of the park!Unlike a normal backpacking trip, we will be "car camping" (tents very near the parking lot) over the course of the week and take day trips from there. You won’t have to carry a backpack! This is the best of both worlds if you’ve always wanted to backpack, but don’t want to break down your camp every night and carry everything for a week.
Your experience will include incredible vistas, gentle cascades, waterfalls, majestic ancient forests, crystal clear mountain streams, old home sites, graveyards, and hidden trails. We will explore the high peaks of the Chimney Tops, enjoy the sound while eating lunch at Mingo Falls, and enjoy the cool, crisp air while relaxing in the meadows near Cades Cove.
We will also spend a day traveling the trails by horseback*.
Each day will be a fun-filled but relaxing day exploring the park while spending each night sleeping out under the stars in a National Park campground. The campsites have restrooms, potable water nearby but NO showers, we have a portable shower available. There is no electricity at the campsites, but we can use cell phone chargers in the vehicle. We will have a community breakfast and dinner at the campsite each day and we will provide a bagged lunch for everyone to enjoy on the trail. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner while at the camp will be provided. All meals on travel days will be the responsibility of the attendee. More info regarding a menu will be addressed upon registration.

The cost of the trip is $800.00 per person and includes all transportation with pickups starting from Sarasota County, Florida, 3 meals** a day including snacks (meals not provided on travel days). Payment options are available, just send us an email or call for options.

*Horseback is optional and an additional $110.00 and is paid upon checkout. Riding restrictions state that participants must be 5 years of age or older and under 225lbs.
