This intimate gathering features one spotlight poet who sets the tone for an evening of creativity, connection, and self-expression, followed by an open mic format of poets and performers.
Whether you’re a seasoned poet or just love to share your voice, our FREE open mic format welcomes you.
Set in the heart of Houston’s Ironworks Marketplace, this is your chance to soak in a soulful vibe, sip on handcrafted cocktails, and be inspired by the spoken word.
Agenda:
- Network with other poets and creatives
- Featured poet on-stage for a few poems
- Musical intermission, including a smoke break in the garden
- Open mic poets/performers to close out the evening
