Ambient Electronic Music Showcase featuring Paul Gaeta and FriendsPaul Gaeta is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and instrument maker based in Asheville, NC. In 2007, he founded Circuitree Records, a label that has released a wide range of music across genres. As a composer and producer, Gaeta has created 11 original albums, while also curating and supporting the work of many other artists. His current focus is ambient music, drawing inspiration from Aphex Twin and Brian Eno, as well as from African and Indian folk and classical traditions.
For over a decade, Gaeta worked as an educator and synth historian with Moog Music and other leading instrument makers, specializing in electronic instrument design, MIDI connectivity, and analog synthesis. Today, much of his creative energy is devoted to his workshop, where he continues to refine his craft as a flute maker, blending traditional woodworking with his deep background in sound design. He also regularly hosts community kirtans and sound baths, creating spaces for collective listening, meditation, and healing through music.
