We're going to keep on keeping on here with the 3rd night tour of the year. We are growing in popularity with 18 in attendance last time and I hope more this time. I have chosen this date after carefully looking at tide times and moon phases and it being on a Saturday. Tthe next date would be in october. High tide is at 6:32 pm and sun sets around 8:20pm however upriver isn effected by the tide times u till 45 mins to hour later.. This is the closest I can get to high tide at night for us so we don't get blocked in by the low logs like last time. the next window wouldn't be until October or later. Remember folks this is a night time event. Please none of the following....this is an adult event so sorry.. no children... also no pets... no stand up paddle boards, no inflatable kayaks or collapsible kayaks. Everyone must have your standard red and green safety lights on thier kayak, a good headlamp with extra batteries as well as thier life jackets and a whistle. Everyone is responsible for themselves. The past 2 events went off without a hitch and I would like to keep it that way. That being said...neither I or anyone affiliated with the Cotee River Kayakers Club is responsible for other people. This is a safe fun time at night with music and disco lights in the tree canopies and reggae music. You partake in whatever you wish to partake in. Its a 420 friendly event but also it's a byob or byos event. As always I will be playing a new selection of Reggae for everyone's enjoyment on the trip!! looking forward to seeing everyone again and let's have another great night on our beautiful Cotee River.
