The 70's Dance Group is pleased to announce that our first smoke and alcohol free dance will be held 7 -10 pm on Feb. 14 2025 in the Fellowship Hall of Northwood Christian Church which is located in the heart of the Meridian - Kessler neighborhood at 4550 Central Avenue Indianapolis In. 46205!
The hall has a beautiful stage is the size of a high school basketball court and provides plenty of space for tables and chairs at which you can sit and enjoy a beverage while listening to the music as well as a large floor to get up and dance on when the music moves you!
We will provide music live at future events but because one of the band members will be out of town for Valentine's Day weekend will DJ music for this pilot dance - classic rock as well as pretty slow songs by well known bands that were famous in the 70's including The Beatles Rolling Stones Eagles Creedance Clearwater Revival and Neil Young.
Pepsi and Diet Pepsi will be available at the dance for $1 per can but feel free to bring your own beverage if you prefer something different. At future dances we'll encourage attendees to bring covered dishes to share with one another to help make our dances a fun filled monthly community event for all to enjoy...
People of all faiths races and ages are welcome to join in the fun - Grand Parents Parents singles - feel free to even bring the kids !
We suggest a $10 per person donation to help defray the cost of rent for the hall and to pay the DJ / band that provides the music.
