A concert featuring the faculty and students in the Program in Sacred Music at Notre Dame in works that includes composers JS Bach, Rameau, Art Song, and beautiful choral works. Jerry Blackstone conducts Concordia Vocal Ensemble, the choir that includes the entire cohort of masters and doctoral level students at SMND. Cynthia Katsarelis conducts the SMND Festival Chamber Orchestra in a Bach cantata featuring faculty soprano Jeni Houser. Faculty artists Drs. Kola Owolabi, Mary Catherine Levri, Steven Lancaster, and Dror Baitel will present works for harpsichord, organ, voice, and piano. Dr. Mark Doerries conducts the beloved Notre Dame Children’s Choir.Event is free but ticketed and open to the public.
