After a tremendous first week, we couldn't be more excited for our next instalment at our new venue "Good Things" Nuonik
Three outstanding musicians and established stalwarts on the UK music scene come together to form a brand new original project "Nuonik". Having been friends and colleagues for many years, Bill, Mark, and Ted are excited to embark on a new era of music making showcasing some brand new music!
Bill Mudge is a versatile keyboardist rooted in jazz and improvised music, effortlessly crossing genres with ease. With a deep affinity for electro-mechanical instruments, he brings the organ trio to life through inventive arrangements and original compositions. Over the years, Bill has recorded and performed with acclaimed artists across the UK and beyond, including Sara Dowling (The Two Sides of Sara), The James Hunter Six, Vasilis Xenopoulos (The Wind Machine), Jim Mullen, The Nigel Price Trio, The
Carl Orr Band (Somewhere Else), The CJP Band, The Filthy Six, Mick Hanson Organ Trio, The Baker Brothers (Avid Sounds), Scott McKeon (Trouble), Paul Jordanous (And Now I Know), Toy Rokit (Test Flights; Mission 6), and Wonder 45.
Mark Rose has been an active and integral part of the London Jazz community for over 20 years, drawing influences from Blues, Rock, Americana, and the global modern Jazz scene. As a Leader: He leads his own groups, including the Mark Rose Quartet, and has released recorded work as a leader. His 2020 album, A Merry Dance, was a follow-up to his 2015 self-produced chordless trio album, Rose Of The Rancho, which featured saxophonist Vasilis Xenopoulos. Collaborations: He frequently collaborates with prominent musicians, including guitarist Mike Outram, and has been featured on numerous gigs, recordings, and at festivals.
Drummer Ted Carrasco has enjoyed a varied career playing and recording with luminaries such as The Baker Brothers, The James Taylor Quartet, The CJP band, The Paul Jordanous Ensemble, & Terence Collie. He has performed as a leader and a sideman at many of the UK's most prestigious venues. His unique style, versatility & musicianship have made him a sought after member of the UK music community.
The group will perform brand new material by members of the group.
