🌳🌳Date for the diary🌳🌳We're pleased to announce that now the flood management phase is complete, we have set a date for planting our 2000 whips at the Smeeton Westerby Nature Project. Weather permitting, the event will go ahead on Saturday 14th December. If you would like to join us, please follow the link below to sign up. The event is free but we require all attendees to sign up for health and safety reasons.
🌼Flower Bulbs🌼
If you would like to contribute to the project beyond offering your time, please bring along some flower bulbs to plant on the day as well. We'd like to keep the woodland looking wild, so bulbs such as snow drops, bluebells, daffodils, wild garlic, fritillaria, Puschkinia would be ideal. You can also buy a selection of 'Woodland bulbs' for ease.
