About this Event
Yoga seeks to bring alignment to body, mind, and spirit. Elevate your practice by joining us in the historic Great Hall at the National Academy of Sciences for a special session of Smart Yoga that combines gentle yoga flow, a meditative sound bath, and a guided reflection on how our brain responds to these experiences. Through breath-centered movement and the resonance of crystal singing bowls and other healing instruments, this practice will help release tension, restore balance, and support mental clarity. Led by Dana Smith, E-RYT 500, founder of Spiritual Essence Yoga, we will create space for both rejuvenation and introspection in one of D.C.’s most breathtaking settings. Dana will be joined by neuroscientist and physicist . No prior yoga experience is needed—just come as you are to replenish your body, soul, and brain as we link the worldly to the transcendent.
Light snacks will be offered.
