About this Event
A workshop designed for photographers who already have a basic appreciation of photography and are seeking to further develop their personal photographic style. Ideal for anyone seeking to better understand how to use their camera to capture great portrait pictures in everyday situations.
Expensive and complicated equipment and programs are not essential for capturing and creating unique and powerful images. Everything you need at hand is your camera (DSLR, point and shoot or smartphone camera).
The presentation delivered by portait photography expert Ronnie Grammatica, will be dedicated to looking at the work of master photographers, demonstrating how composition rules can be manipulated to achieve various effects.
The first half of the workshop is dedicated to covering the basics of the camera and key photography rules. Participants will be given the opportunity to practise what they have learned, with time dedicated to taking photographs. Photographers will learn how to use composition, colour, natural and artificial light to capture evocative portraits.
The second part of the workshop focuses on digital image editing and processing using a free online app. At the end of the session students can share their images with peers and receive feedback from the mentor.
