Smart Cities: The Future of Urban Living
In partnership with FIU Center for International Business Education and Research, Simplicity Agency, and SONDA are excited to announce an initiative to promote technology within the university and the wider community. This collaboration seeks to enhance educational opportunities, foster innovation, and provide students with valuable knowledge and internship opportunities. As part of this initiative, we are organizing an event that will delve into the development of smart cities, covering various aspects such as sustainability, mobility, and AI technology.
We’d like you to join us for an insightful Q&A session on developing and integrating technology within a smart city. Our keynote speaker, the CEO of SONDA, will share insights on integrating technology into urban planning and the innovative use of AI models for assessing and maintaining roadway conditions. The session will highlight successful AI model implementations' methodologies, data integration, and outcomes. This event also provides an excellent opportunity for students to explore internship opportunities with SONDA. Our moderator is Thomas Spiegelhalter, Professor in the Department of Architecture in the College of Communication, Architecture + the Arts.
