Smalti Workshop, held in conjunction with Beate Linckelmann from Mosaic Bazaar and Smalti Australia, Sunday 18th August 10am until 4pm. This absolutely unique workshop is yet another one to appeal to those whom would like an introduction into the use of Smalti in mosaics and those whom have some experience, but wish to further their skills.
A unique day, where you can buy your Smalti on the day, as you create, with boxes and boxes of colourful, stunning hand made glass available for purchase.
You will be supplied a 20cm x 20cm wall hanging, and can bring along your own design/inspiration, or we will have some designs to choose from. Adhesive will be supplied.
You will need to bring:
Twin Wheel glass nippers
Tweezers
A small Palette knife
A small hand towel
A couple of bamboo skewers
At least 2 x colour photocopies of a possible design/s (NOT on your phone!) Keep it simple.
Note book (optional)
Containers for Smalti (to take home, maybe just a couple)
Your lunch
Morning tea/coffee etc supplied. BYO lunch.
COST $150 plus your Smalti (approx $80)
A $50 non refundable deposit is payable on booking to secure your place and balance payable on the day.
