About this Event
It’s a great big world out there – especially when you’re no bigger than a thumb!
When pint sized Thumbeletta – affectionately known as “Small Thumb” – finds herself far, far, away from home, she ends up on a grand adventure that takes her down river, underground, and through the air as she tries to wend her way homewards. Who will she meet along the way? What creatures will help or hinder her? How will she ever find her way home when the world is so very large? And will she ever see her dear mother again?
This production, re-imagines Hans Christian Andersen’s well-known fairy tale, Thumbelina as a downhome and homespun American adventure tale filled with bluegrass music and a makeshift jug band!
Appropriate for children of all ages, Small Thumb, offers something for theatre goers of every age.
Presented by North Shore Community College's Cultural Arts Department.
