Multi-instrumentalist, acclaimed band leader and noted for his versatility, Michael McQuaid [cl /saxes] has toured the world playing early to swing jazz from the 1920s and 30s. He now lives in England and is a much in demand reed man playing at top jazz festivals and clubs.
RicoTomasso [tr] considered one of the finest trumpets in the UK. He has been nominated - and won - Best Trumpet in the The British Jazz Awards many times. He studied at the Leeds College of Music and tours extensively playing at top jazz festivals and clubs and with many of the finest UK big bands. Is devoted to Louis Armstrong - his hero.
Mike Denham [piano] renowned stride, blues and boogie piano man has developed a life-long fascination with these vintage piano styles from the 1920s and 30s. Much sought after he has his own New Orleans 7 piece jazz band as well as playing the music from the The Great American Songbook through to 1950s Rock 'n' Roll.
Oz Dechaine [bass] much sought after bass man established locally with burgeoning national reputation. Piers Clark [acoustic rhythm guitar] remembering Freddie Green.
