About this Event

The Small Grants Award is an open call providing pump-priming funds for collaborative, targeted research into high-priority areas, new challenges, and pressing concerns in policing.

This year, N8 PRP will host a Collaboration Workshop to enable police and academics to find research partners and develop proposals for the Small Grants Call.

Police and academics are invited to submit a one-page proposal to for development at the Workshop - please refer to the Small Grants Call page for guidance and the proposal form.

Proposals to be presented at the Workshop will be announced 10 June 2022.

Attendees and proposers will discuss the projects, explore ideas, make connections between research interests and areas of practice, and broaden professional networks. Participants will be supported to establish a research team, shape the aims and scope of a project, and develop pathways to impact.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

If you would like to apply for a Small Grant award but cannot attend the Collaboration Workshop, please contact [email protected] and alternative arrangements will be made.
