About this Event
Small Firm Diaries USA is a multi-city longitudinal study following firms in low-income communities over time. The research takes an unusually close look at the financial lives of small businesses to surface how business owners manage volatility, respond to shocks, and make decisions that shape their businesses and their workers.
These early findings events, which mark the midpoint of our data collection, will share emerging insights from the study and invite conversation about what they may mean for policy, practice, and efforts to better support small firms and workers.
We welcome your participation alongside other researchers, practitioners, and community partners working to strengthen small business ecosystems locally and nationally.
Space is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible. We also encourage you to share this invitation with colleagues and organizations in your network who may find the event relevant.
Please arrive between 8:00-8:30am to enjoy a light breakfast and networking opportunities for an 8:30am start.
This event is co-sponsored by the Brown School and Data for Social Impact, an initiative of the Center for Social Development at WashU.
