Weekly walking group for small dogs at the wonderful Coalgate Reserve.There are usually six to nine dogs and a smaller, welcoming group of humans. It is lovely seeing the dogs meeting their friends each week and watching them play!
We loiter for 5 minutes just inside the gate so people can gather, then set off in a straight line from the car park (aka clockwise), so you know how to find us if you are late. We usually do a couple of laps of the outside and one of the inside, depending on what people feel like.
Larger dogs welcome if they get on really well with a herd of enthusiastic little dogs.
If you haven't been there before, it is fantastic for off-leash walks and stick-throwing on the wide grass strip around the outside, or meandering through the sheltered plantation trees in the middle.
