About this Event
Join us for this month’s Small & Mighty Business Series for Networking 101, led by Chad Goodwill, Vice President at First Source Bank. This practical session is designed to help you build relationships that lead to real opportunities. The workshop is split into two parts: first, we will focus on how to grow your network with intention through Centers of Influence and LinkedIn. Then, we will shift to best practices for live networking so you can walk into events with confidence, a plan, and stronger conversation skills.
You will learn how to identify and build Centers of Influence, use LinkedIn more effectively, and develop simple habits that improve follow-up. We will also cover what makes networking feel natural instead of forced, including how to set a goal for each event, stay curious, ask better questions, and deliver a clear elevator pitch. To build real comfort in the room, we will also teach mirroring as a simple technique you can use in conversations at networking events. Attendees will practice this through a role-playing exercise, with opportunities to get up, participate, and try it out in a low-pressure setting.
You will leave with a simple approach you can use at COI events, public networking opportunities, and everyday meetings to keep your network growing.
The Small & Mighty Business series is sponsored by and is a part of the Chamber Education series. The 2025 Chamber Education series includes the Quarterly Business Breakfast Roundtable series and the Small & Mighty Business series and is proudly supported .
