Smacked Youth return to The Stag for a huge hometown headline show, with Brisbane rockers Reckless Coast, and alt indie quartet Foreign Horror!SMACKED YOUTH: is a 3 piece punk outfit from Newcastle, NSW With a solid catalog of songs such as “My Station” receiving airplay on Triple J’s Home & Hosed and Short Fast Loud. Smacked Youth is sure to get a crowd of sweaty beer soaked punters moving in the mosh pit with their loud energetic live performances. 2023 saw Smacked Youth embark on their biggest year yet with their first overseas tour which featured shows in London, Amsterdam, and Berlin. As well as finishing off the year with a monster 24 date national tour opening for Australian rock royalty The Screaming Jets, which spanned from the start of November 2023 to the end of March 2024.
RECKLESS COAST: Highlighted by ‘The Music’ as the Queensland feature artist in 2023, the crew of coastal misfits known as Reckless Coast are at the forefront of today's rock resurgence. Having shared the stage with a dynamic range of artists including The Southern River Band, The Delta Riggs and Press Club, the band's coastal pub-rock persona is closest resembled as a bonding of Foo Fighters adrenaline with Rolling Stones swagger. The Brisbane based rockers are hitting the road for an East Coast tour in support of their EP 'Naked & Famous', out May 3rd.
