It is the 10 year anniversary of Chicago's Slutwalk movement! In recognition of the outrageous attack on abortion laws in Texas, our (rescheduled, this for sure happening I promise) celebration this year is centered around amplifying the voices of people with uteruses city and nation wide! This year, we walk to teach people that abortions are a form of healthcare and government mandates should not be apart of the conversation when it comes to reproductive safety. We walk in solidarity for those for affected and we walk in power to incite change that helps all.Bring yourself, bring your friends and be loud! Your anger is a tool against the systems that oppress us. Our community welcomes all who are fighting the good fight.
We nor should anyone police what you wear so dress however you want but we are still in the trenches of the COVID-19 pandemic so IF YOU ATTEND OUR GATHERING, PLEASE WEAR A MASK/BE VACCINATED AS WE ARE STILL TAKING COVID SERIOUSLY. PLEASE PROTECT YOURSELF AND THOSE AROUND YOU.
