About this Event
The Volume 77 invites you to join its annual Symposium—an opportunity for leading academics, students, and practitioners across the country to share their vision for the future of the legal field on a critical topic. This year’s topic for the SLR Symposium is “Promises of Sovereignty: A Quarter Century of Federal Indian Law in the Supreme Court.” We will welcome numerous leading scholars and prominent practitioners to discuss and present research on the Supreme Court’s Federal Indian Law jurisprudence and its impact on Native peoples and tribal nations in the past 25 years.
Our dinner keynote dinner on February 21, 2025, will be with Edwin Kneedler, Leonard R. Powell, and Zachary C. Shauf, each an expert on Supreme Court litigation in Federal Indian Law.
