SLOW VIN-YIN YOGA: Every Thursday 10:30 am - Noon. Taught by Tonya Lowell. Pre-registration required (No walk-ins). Pre-register at www.schedulicity.com/scheduling/MTBQEB/classesFind balance between effort and ease with Slow Vin/Yin. You're guided to consciously breathe and move through a slow vinyasa/flow style practice for the first part of class. For the second part, reward your effort with a sweet surrender yin practice. In yin, seated, lying or wall-supported poses are held for 3-5+ minutes with minimal exertion to give yourself the time and space to fall into deeper meditative states. Yin postures allow one to access the deeper parts of the body and to regulate the energy flow in the body. . They focus on the connective tissue, ligaments, bones, and joints in the body - allowing access to deeper parts of the body and to regulate energy flow in the body. The final 15 minutes include Savasana and Integration to carry the benefits into the rest of your day. All Levels welcome.
