Leeds-based grunge outfit Slow Team is returning to Newcastle for their headline show at Little Buildings on the 2nd of March with support from Vennels and spacecadetbloom! An ethereal grunge explosion created Slow Team, a post-modern alternative three-piece from Leeds. Pulling together shoegaze, electronic, acoustic, and grunge elements, this new band has risen from the ashes of previous projects that spent years defining sounds that have been feeding into making their sound even silkier.
Taking primary inspiration from the likes of Bon Iver, Radiohead, and DIIV, Slow Team have been making huge impressions in their hometown whilst beginning to dominate cities like Nottingham, Manchester, and Hull. Their live shows are dynamically challenging, offering listeners the chance to explore further than the extremes of their influence.
