Slow stitching is less a process and more an desire driven practice that helps you to slow down and focus.
It's rooted in hand sewing, mending, and traditional quilting. It's all about feeling the needle in your hand and making deliberate choices in which fabrics and stitches to use in the moment. It's deliberate, slow, and meaningful. It's about creating an artwork that speaks to you.
It doesn't need to make sense, unless you want it to. Some people prefer to plan out a design, some just pick things up to use because they like them. It's all about trusting yourself to make something lovely.
