Brisbane’s popular Slow Soirée house party is going on a cruise! Join us for a unique weekend of slow dancing and ocean cruising. We kick off in Brisbane on Friday night with our favourite blues band, the incredible Vix and the Slick Chix. Vix knows what dancers like, they love to play for us, and they are SO good. Hosted at the beautiful Mix Bar in Woolloongabba, you can also enjoy some tasty cocktails while you dance!
Then on Saturday, we will embark on a three night P&O “Cruise to nowhere”. By day we’ll be swimming, eating, and enjoying the various house bands. By night, we’ll find deserted corners of the ship to dance slow blues, slow bal, slow lindy, and fusion into the wee hours of the morning. We might be on the deck under the stars one night, on a dance floor in an empty lounge bar the next, or we might even commandeer the restaurant after dinner is done.
Dancing under the stars on the deck of a gently swaying ship is not to be missed.
All your accommodation, meals, venues, and even a swimming pool and comedy shows are all included on board. Plus, it’s a very short walk back to your cabin after you’ve finished dancing! Those who were on similar cruise events in 2015, 2016, and 2017 will know how great this setup is.
