Terms and condions
Definitions: In these terms and conditions Slow Run Club or SRC means the running club associated with Sole Trader: Holly Spiers. SRC Leader means any individual considered a volunteer organiser of SRC events. Participant or runner means any individual who attends a SRC event or run.
Members of Public means any individual not attending an SRC event.
Age: Participants(s) must be age 18 and over can participate in SRC runs and events.
Health and Safety:Participant(s) take full responsibility for any injury or health condition sustained whilst partaking in our events. Participant(s) also take full responsibility for any injury or health condition sustained whilst partaking in SRC events arising from a previous medical condition.
SRC Leader(s) are not medically trained and are therefore not qualified to assess if the participant (s) is in appropriate physical condition to attend our events. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you declare that you are in good health, physically fit and are not aware of any physical or psychological reasons why you cannot take part in any event that is hosted by SRC.
Our Conduct code: Slow Run Club promotes a safe and social community of runner(s) and SRC Leader(s. Runner(s) and SRC Leader(s) are expected to support each other at all times, enabling a welcoming and respectful environment that is free from harassment, discrimination and intimidation during runs. SRC do not tolerate any form of harassment, bullying or abusive behaviour aimed at SRC Leader(s), runner(s) or members of the public from participant(s) or SRC Leader(s). Please behave safely and do not harm others or put them at risk at any SRC events or runs. Runners) are encouraged to voice any concerns to fellow SRC Leaders if they experience any harassment, bullying or abusive behaviour. Please respect and acknowledge members of the public on SRC events and runs.
Personal Property: Slow Run Club runs and events take place on public roads and footpaths.
We do offer a bag drop at Foundation Coffee House, however SRC or Foundation Coffee House do not accept liability for any loss, theft or damage of runner(s) property during a SRC run or event.
Savings (servability) clause:
If any provision of this contract is held unenforceable, then such provision, if allowable, will be modified to reflect the parties' intention. All remaining provisions of these terms shall remain in full force and effect.
Limitation of Liability:
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limited or exclude SRC of liability for (I) death of personal injury caused by negligence or negligence of its personnel or agents (2) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation (3) any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law. Consequential loss arising under, or in connection with, these terms and conditions and (b) SRC and its affiliates, sponsors and third party vendors total liability to the member or participant (s) whether in contract, breach of statutory duty or otherwise arising under or in connection with these T&Cs shall be limited to £100.
If participant(s) do not agree to the terms and conditions to the event, they will not be allowed to partake in the event.
Participation is at SRC discretion and availability may be restricted. All participant(s) agree to abide by these terms and conditions and failure to do so may result in being removed from the event or from the community entirely.
