Enjoy a 10 mile slow bike ride through Balboa Park at twilight. We will meander and explore this lovely park on paved pathways at a blistering 5 miles per hour starting and ending at the Bea Evenson Fountain. What better way to cool off on a hot, California summer day than to engage in this all-skill-levels-welcomed, fun event (devised entirely as an excuse to get outside and play together)?For this excursion, you need only bring a mechanically sound, non-motorized, personal transportation machine (such as a bike, trike, scooter, skateboard or really old roller skates with steel wheels and a skate key), your basic PPE (such as a bike helmet, elbow pads, gloves, or bubble wrap), a beverage (to stave off dehydration), and a keen desire to be nice to other people and to have some fun. Perfect.
See you on the west side of the fountain at 6 pm!
