The Slow Drinks Foraged Dinner features a 5-course foraged Appalachian-meets-Italian dinner from the chefs at Gemelli and Strada and paired foraged beverages from Danny Childs, a botanical mixologist and 2024 James Beard Award-winning author of the book "Slow Drinks: A Field Guide to Foraging and Fermenting Seasonal Sodas, Botanical Cocktails, Homemade Wines, and More".
Tickets are $175 each and inclusive of all dishes, drinks, tax, and gratuity.
• The beverages, a mix of high, low, and no alcohol cocktails, will feature creations by Danny Childs, in collaboration with Gemelli mixologist Devon Dickerson.
• The Appalachian-meets-Italian menu will be created around the foraged ingredients and inspired by the Slow Movement, which originated in Italy. Preparing the dishes will be Gemelli Executive Chef de Cuisine Gabe Cerrato, Executive Chef/Owner Anthony Cerrato (of Gemelli and Strada Italiano), Corporate Chef Valdimir Martino, and Strada Chef Luke Lavenski.
• Foraged ingredients are foraged in-part with Alan Muskat, owner of No Taste Like Home foraging adventures, and other local foragers.
• The evening is a chance for guests to discover what Slow Drinks is all about. Danny will also be signing his book, which will be available for purchase.
