We are calling on all the worn and weary. Who among us does not need renewal these days? The demands of daily life challenge even the most disciplined spiritual seekers. It helps every now and then to press pause and get away for a little time of self-reflection and encounter God outside of your normal routine. This day will offer intentional spiritual practices that will improve your daily prayer, meditation, and reflection. Not to mention, it will provide some much-needed time to rest and let God fill you up. Even Jesus took time to retreat, withdrawing to quiet places when his public ministry was busy, in times of grief, or when big decisions had to be made. Let’s follow his example and take some time with our Lord.
The day begins with 9 AM Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Chapel. Check-in will take place after Mass in St. Michel’s Hall. Coffee, tea, and pastries will be available.
