Join us January 2025 at Anderson Yoga Center for "SLOW BURN: Sculpt Yoga Teacher Training" with Jen Fortin. This course has been meticulously programmed for certified yoga teachers and/or certified personal or group fitness trainers to effectively and safely teach yoga sculpt to a wide range of students. In this course you can expect to learn the following: * Musculoskeletal system overview
* Connective tissues overview
* Important anatomical terms
* Explore planes of motion
* Explore types of muscular contractions
* Aerobic vs anaerobic training
* Metabolic effects of exercise
* The benefits of strength training
* Pranayama and strength training
* The Sculpt Yoga structure
* How to put together a fun Yoga Sculpt music playlist
* How to perform effective and safe instructional demos
* How to watch for correct form and give appropriate verbal cues
* Providing exercise options for all fitness levels
* How to build a strength circuit
* Theming class
* Using flow for power vinyasa, or recovery- scaling your class appropriately
* Create a safe and successful class environment
* Encouraging and uplifting verbiage
* Build and teach your own sculpt classes and have fun doing it!
This training is for certified Yoga Instructors and/or certified Personal or Group Fitness Professionals. At the end of this teacher training, you will have the opportunity to earn 30 Yoga Alliance approved continuing education hours (CEUs), as well as a certification to teach full Sculpt Yoga classes with knowledge, confidence, and skill!
In addition, Jen will also provide you one year of access to her extensive and ever-growing on-demand fitness library. Within this library you will find a huge array of strength training exercises, with demonstration and safety cues; mini power flows; mini mindful flows; Sculpt Yoga warm-ups and cool-downs; as well as full 60-minute Sculpt Yoga classes to inspire your teaching and keep things fresh for your students!

This training will take place over 4 days; attendance at all training hours is required for full certification.
- Thursday, January 23: 12pm - 6pm
- Friday, January 24: 12pm - 6pm
- Saturday, January 25: 8am - 6pm
- Sunday, January 26: 8am - 4pm
