What: Three week mini-series in Slow Balboa. Build confidence in the basics and add to your repertoire. Knowledge of Slow Balboa basics (Dean Raftery basic, Slow Out, Slow Bal Come Around) or intermediate level balboa strongly recommended. These classes assume you already know the basics of Slow Balboa.When: Thursdays, 7pm to 8pm (Arrive between 6:40pm and 6:59pm)
Registration: Go to caleburr.com/slowbalboa to register. $15USD per class, or $30USD for all three classes.
Where: Forge Fitness, 100 Drayton Street, Lynden WA. Doors will be open at 6:40pm. If arriving at 7pm, the door will be locked. Please call the number posted on the door to be let in. Class will meet on the upper level — follow the hall to the left, past the reception desk and up the stairs.
Additional info: if you’d like to practice what you are learning in class, come back for the Vitamin Swing social dance every first and third Saturday, 7:30pm to 9pm. DJ’ed music includes a mix of tempos for Lindy hop, Balboa, and Slow Balboa.
