EVENT DETAILS
⦿ ALL AGES: Toddlers to seniors!
⦿ ALL ABILITIES: Must be able to roll and stop on skates. We will go at a slow pace so nobody gets left behind. We'll occasionally stop at a bubbla for water, and to share tips & tricks, take photos & for slower skaters to catch up; before moving on.
⦿ ALL WHEELS: Roller skates, inline blades, freeskates, scooters, unicycles, electric longboards, skateboards, wheelchairs, buggies! Also, friendly energetic dogs on leashes or pulled along in dog carts are very welcome!
⦿ WHERE: Meet at 4.45pm QLD (5.45 NSW time) on the beach path that's just off Bilinga's Gibson St. Follow the music to find Julio & friends practicing skate moves. We depart at 5pm QLD promptly, and skate the smooth beach path towards Currumbin, and then return to our starting point. It’s an easy 4k each way, which is not much on wheels. Some of us may go for a social meal afterwards, to which everyone is welcome to join!

ABOUT US: Gold Coast Rollout is a network of many thousands of skaters from Brisbane to Byron, that roller skate/blade for fun or professionally, across all skate disciplines (dance/jam/rhythm skating, roller derby, figure skating, speed skating, trick/slalom, aggressive skating, etc). We share tips & arrange skate meet-ups including our main community skates in different locations on Sundays and Mondays...We do this in a voluntary community spirit to promote skating; and so we practice & learn together for free & for fun. It's just a community post for like-minded skaters to skate with one another at a public venue. Nothing's provided (e.g. skates etc). We recommend you wear protection. You'll be skating at your own risk. If you fall it's nobody's fault that's connected with this event. Circumstances beyond our control may cause the event to be changed/cancelled, such as poor weather. We'll announce any change/cancellation here. Photos will be taken & published on social media.
