About this Event
Come and join us and play with clay in this beginner class focused on slipcasting techniques! No experience needed — this course is perfect for adults who are new to ceramics or looking to try something creative.
You’ll begin with some mindfulness practices and start to learn how to make a clay replica of everyday objects by pouring liquid clay into plaster molds. We’ll cover the basics of tinting and what the consistency of your casting slip should be, the timing of the casting and how to release your piece from the molds. We will fire and return your piece to you when it is ready!
