Slim Pickin's Communal String Band is a collective music project from SW Montana formed in 2020. Born out of the collaborative spirit of Old-Time and Bluegrass music, Slim Pickin's plays raw, fun, and unpretentious music that renders an old folk tradition to the present day. Get your dancin’ shoes on and come enjoy new and old music from where the Rocky Mountains meet Appalachia—who knows, you might end up in the band, too!
