Welcome to the season opener for 2025 Slideways Showdown All day drifting into the night with camping at the track!!
Race Lab Industries, Furlong & Co Insurance Agency, Intellitronix and The Painesville Speedway invite you to Slideways Showdown!

Drift Schedule as follows:
SATURDAY------------------
10:00 am - Gates open for drivers
11:00 pm - Tech Starts
12:00 pm - Gates open to the public
12:00 pm - Driver's meeting/Drifting Comp meeting after regular drivers meeting
12:15 pm - Open Drifting/Tandem Comp Practice
3:00 pm - Drifting Comp
5:00 pm - Drift Games (if applicable)
5:30 pm - Open Drift resumes
11:00 pm - Drifting Ends
We have neighbors at the track so the noise needs to be at the minimum. Small radios and above ground campfires are allowed in the pits but be respectful!!
Drifting will resume on Sunday at 12p.
SUNDAY----------------------
9:00 am - Wrist band check
10:00 am - Gates open for drivers (Sunday drivers)
11:00 am - Tech Starts
12:00 pm - Gates open to the public
12:15 pm - Driver's meeting
12:30 pm - Open Drifting
6:00 pm - Drifting ends. Pack up and clean up
Cars and drivers can be split up into groups for maximum seat time if there are a lot of drivers. Plenty of seat time so bring a lot of tires.
Tire machine is available
There will be a food truck with soft drinks, delicious food and great snacks!
We will have security on site to watch everyone's cars and to be sure things remain cool. Please act responsibly. absolutely no donuts or burnouts in the parking lot will be tolerated save it for the track

Drift Limbo/Hard Parking Challenge
Spectators/ Pits: $15 Per person
Free Admission Under the age of 10
Two day pass - $150 pre-registered
Single day pass - $85 pre-registered
Two day at gate - $180
Single day pass at Gate - $95

Basic tech inspection requires:
- No Visible leaks
- Battery properly tied down (No zip ties or straps) with a cover over the positive terminal, NO EXEPTIONS
- Snell SA2015 or newer helmet NO DOT, NOT Snell M or K, NO EXEPTIONS
- Fire extinguisher is required, NO EXEPTIONS
- Tow hooks front and back
- Proper safety restraints (Stock is okay without cage. 4 point or more with cage)
- Roll bar required for convertibles. Roll bar must extend above Driver's helmet. Rule applies to any passengers also.
- Closed toed shoes required.
**If you fail tech, you will NOT be drifting until the car passes.
The track is a 1/5th mile oval track with a figure-eight in the center.
