Ignite your night at Maximum Gloss! This is the ultimate pre-competition party for Slick 25: Utopia, a pure celebration of rubber culture. Plus it is a great time for you to all meet our amazing Melbourne Rubber 2025 Contestants!Join your community at The Laird (149 Gipps Street, Abbotsford) on Thursday, September 11th, from 8 PM 'til close.
Expect pulsing beats from our DJ, a sea of incredible rubber and kink gear, and an atmosphere buzzing with collective energy and shared passion.
Melbourne Rubber will be taking donations on the night, which go back into our community to help run these events and similar initiatives.
From approximately 9:30 PM, get ready to Meet the Contestants! Our aspiring titleholders will hit the stage for a fun mini-game to determine their running order for tomorrow's competition. It's a night of playful rivalry and community support.
PARKING:
There is limited parking around the venues and nearby backstreets. Please be mindful of timezones and parking restrictions that may be in effect during the time you park your car. Public transport is accessible by Collingwood Train Station (Eltham / Mernda line), which is less than 200m from the venue.
ACCESSIBILITY:
The Laird Hotel is wheelchair accessible. There are ramps and flat flooring through the majority of the venue with some door frames having a small bump. The rear courtyard is also predominantly concreted. If there are any special needs or requirements please email any questions to [email protected] so we can ensure we can accommodate all.
DRESS CODE:
There is no strict dress code for this event, but Latex, Neoprene, Leather, Uniform, Fantasy, and Fetish are encouraged.
We do not allow display of Swastikaz, Police Badges, or Police uniforms at our events. If you are displaying any of these elements in your fetish you will be denied entry and need to change to access the venue.

CHANGING AREA AND CLOAK:
Cloak is available for this event on a donation basis with funds raised being put back into our community. There are gender-neutral toilets for you to change if needed. There will also be a designated LUX Slick Station in the Beer Garden to shine up your outfit. Please make sure all polishing is done in the designated area.
