On Packing Day we gather and sort all the community donations and pack those beautiful boxes to send to our local heroes. Our packing room is in the back of the building on the left at 101 Mission Drive in Slidell. All are welcome that want to join in and help. After packing some of our volunteers will be going to El Paso Mexican Restaurant (1100 Robert Blvd, Slidell) for lunch. Lunch is open to any packing volunteer that would like to join in. All orders and costs are at the individual's expense. El Paso supports SLFL and our military men and women so we want to support them and give back. Our highlighted donation items for November are Christmas Gifts and Christmas Candy. All donations are welcome and appreciated, but we pick at least one item each month that we are currently most in need of. If you want to donate Christmas Box items, you can bring them to our packing on November 13th or place them in one of our donation boxes located at businesses around town.
