About this Event
This is a special invitation to join a small group to sleep beneath a chosen tree for the night with the purpose of listening, experiencing, sensing and connecting in a deep way.
It is an opportunity to learn about your environment in a new way, as we immerse ourselves in the beautiful wild plants and animals that surround us in Galloway. Learning about trees, we will move in the rhythm of our ancestors, taking time to notice the many wild lives that otherwise pass us by.
We will gather by the woodland, visit our tree and explore its environment. After setting up camp beneath our tree and enjoying a tea ceremony, we will enter into silence and rest. Around 6.30am, we will rise and break silence over a shared breakfast.
Please fast from lunchtime before arrival
It is recommended to bring a sleeping mat and bag, bivvy bag and tarp if weather is inclement. A mossie repelent and/or net. You're welcome to bring a small tent if you prefer.
