About this Event
If you’re a wardrobe stylist, fashion designer or costume designer, SLAYFEST is the perfect platform to elevate your portfolio and personal brand. This event, brought to you by Style.Rivals, will change the way everyone celebrates Halloween in Chicago! We are looking for stylists to interpret some of the most iconic horror and sci-fi media through fashion styling.
Not only do we have a curated list of horror and sci-fi media for stylists to choose from, you could also choose to select your own inspiration. Your job is to interpret the fashions of these movies on the runway! Our 2019 showcase was a raving success so we're back with a vengence. And because we really want to see you succeed, we have partnered with a local vintage store in order to provide you with 2-3 borrowed looks to complete your presentations*. That's right, this year, you get access to vintage garments to complete your wardrobe styling! Apply now by sending us a sampling of your past styling work and registering below! Only the best stylists can work with us! Fashion Designers welcomed to apply as well.
THIS REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
- A live walking portfolio opportunity to showcase your interpretation of some of the best horrors of all time!
- Access to FREE models to showcase your styles (or use whomever you choose to display them)
- Total freedom to style looks how you please and to send them down the runway for all to enjoy.
- A produced runway show, without the overhead and venue costs.

SLAYFEST will commence at Chitown Futbol on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 6pm.
